Cybersecurity Classes

Every business is vulnerable. All businesses deserve to be protected.

Manufacturing Works and 4th State Communications have partnered up to bring Wyoming Manufacturers the Cybersecurity standards they need to succeed.  Beginning April 26th, Manufacturing Works will host 4th State for the first of two scheduled classes.

Each class will consist of five sessions, one each day of the week for an hour, running from 2:30-3:30pm MST.  The classes will take place the week of April 26-30 and May 17-21.  

Day 1

Define Federal Expectations

Define positive and negative impacts of security

Determine security impacts on businesses seeking federal contracting opportunities

Identify next steps to take toward NIST 800-171 implementation

Day 2

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 (Chapters 1&2)

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 Requirements

Day 3

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 previous Requirements (3.1 3.4)

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 Requirements:

  • Identification &
    Authentication
  • Incident Response
  • Maintenance
  • Media Protection

Day 4

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 previous Requirements (3.5 3.8)

Review NIST 800-171 Revision 2 Requirements:

  • Personnel Security
  • Physical Protection
  • Risk Assessment
  • Security Assessment

Day 5

Classes will cost $1500 per attendee and will be invoiced upon registration.

*Class reimbursement may be possible through the utilization of the Wyoming Workforce Development Fund.  In doing so, please remember to create an account and fill out the application at least 30 days in advance.
