Making energy efficiency improvements and/or installing a renewable energy system can help reduce energy costs. Grants are available to give Wyoming businesses and non-profits the chance to obtain the information necessary to make sound decisions concerning energy use.

Grant assistance is available to help offset the cost
Through a USDA Rural Development pass-through grant, the UW Cooperative Extension Service, Manufacturing Works (a UW-affiliated non-profit), and the State Energy Office are pleased to partner to offer low cost assessments of energy efficiency and renewable energy projects.

Tax exempt energy usage for manufacturers
According to Wyoming Department of Revenue guidelines, some energy used in manufacturing is tax exempt.
Manufacturing-Works can provide an Energy Usage Analysis to determine how much of your energy could be tax exempt.
