The term standard operations refer to the most effective processes for meeting customer demands. Standard operations, once developed and documented, will serve as the basis of all of the organization’s training, performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives. The implementation of standardized work, through combining materials, the best utilization of people processes, and technology will allow the company to meet the customer demands with the lowest amount of total costs.
