Manufacturing Works Earns 100 Score on NIST Impact Metrics Report

Recently, Manufacturing Works—a partnership among the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)—achieved a score of 100 on our NIST impact metrics report.

This score is based upon statistics including the number of manufacturing companies served; jobs created and retained; new and retained sales; and cost savings and investments made by the companies as a result of Manufacturing Works’ services.

Creating or retaining 471 jobs

Generating $64.3 million in new sales

Investing $10.8 million in machinery and other items

Saving $6.7 million in costs
