Manufacturing Day
Why manufacturing matters in Wyoming
Operators, welders, engineers, assemblers… all play a crucial role in Wyoming’s steadily growing manufacturing industry, and each role represents a secure, high-paying job right here in the state.
As our industry continues to grow, we’ll continue to need skilled, interested workers and forward-thinking businesses to keep the momentum going.
MFG Day is the ideal time to get these important conversations started with parents, students, and even fellow manufacturers.
What is Manufacturing Day (MFG Day)?
Held annually on the first Friday in October, MFG Day is an opportunity for Wyoming manufacturers to open their doors to students, parents, teachers and community leaders, and show them what a career in modern manufacturing can look like.
Through tours, job fairs, panel discussions and related events, manufacturers provide an opportunity for visitors to better understand the impact of their work on their community, the state of Wyoming, and even the nation as a whole.
